• Test Preparedness for the GED
We offer a Foundational Diploma
• A 22-credit foundation diploma
• English (4 credits), English I, English II, English III, English IV
• Mathematics (3 credits), Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II
• Science (3 credits), Biology, Chemistry, Physics
• Social Studies (3 credits), World History or World Geography, U.S. History, U.S. Government (one-half credit), Economics (one-half credit)
• Languages other than English (2 credits), 2 credits in the same languages
• Physical Education (1 credit)
• Fine Arts (1 credit)
• Electives (5 credits)
• The HiSET consists of five tests, Language Arts Reading, Language Arts Writing/Essay, Math, Social Studies, Science. You must register and create an account at https://hiset.org/
• The GED exam consists of four tests, Language Arts Reading/Writing, Math, Social Studies Science- you must score a 145 per each test pass. You must register and create an account at https://www.ged.com/
•High School Diploma- ALS offers a 22-credit high school diploma for individuals who need to recover credit or earn original credit that was not earned at their district school.
